Nick joined the company in March 1996 from working in Financial and Customer Services.

He began initially as an administrator but quickly identified a longer term role to fulfil. Since then he has implemented a number of changes to push Kentcare into a more stable long-term future. His skills from his sales, personnel and training background have been used to improve the company reputation still further. He was originally appointed Director in March 98, and from that point on, leading Kentcare forward, keeping its principles but also implementing changes including Quality Assurance Certification of Management systems and Criminal Record Bureau checking to staff. A dynamic and creative influence leading the firm is combined with an open and practical attitude to problem solving; Nick enjoys the occasions “on the tools”, to enable any criticism or praise of his team to remain relevant, as a break from “straightening chairs” in the office!

An Associate of the Institute of Horticulture, and keen environmentalist, he has often given his input on Gardening and Environmental matters in the Press and on Radio.

He has a keen active interest in sport and his punditry has also appeared in the local media. He is married with two children.
